Cheon-Sik Kim is Special Researcher at the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies (IPUS) at Seoul National University (SNU). He is awarded a PhD degree in North Korean studies and specializes in Inter-Korean Relations and cooperations for his research. He took part in several legislating commissions, e. g. for drawing up Inter-Korea Exchange and Cooperation Act and the Inter-Korea Cooperation Fund Act in 1990. He was also an appointed member of the entourage for the 1st Inter-Korean Summit in 2000.
